OFCA was founded in 1974, and is based at the
Old Felixstowe Community Centre in Ferry Road.

Some thirty different groups use the Centre regularly.
Bookings are also welcomed for "one-off" or occasional events.

These are just some of the activities that
take place in the Centre at various times:

Carpet Bowls - Church Groups - Committee Meetings
Community Markets - Cookery Classes - Craft Classes
Cubs - Dolls House Club - Flower Club - Guides
Horticultural Society - Keep Fit - Lacemaking
Ladies' Groups - Lawn Tennis - Line Dancing
Literature - Netball - Parents & Toddlers
Rainbows - Retired Persons Social Club
Senior Citizens Group - Table Tennis - Theatre Group
Wedding Receptions - WIs (two groups)


Facilities for hire include two halls (one complete with a stage),
a coffee lounge, a small meeting room and newly refurbished kitchen.
Outside there are two hard tennis courts and a floodlit netball court.

Hiring fees are very competitive.
Affiliated Groups and OFCA Sections enjoy preferential rates.

OFCA also has several hundred individual and family members.
For a modest subscription fee (£2 individual / £3 family),
members receive a Newsletter (OFCA NEWS) six times a year,
which includes details of recent and forthcoming activities at the Centre.
